After breakfast Andrew and the team went to check out the Gondola and the information office. Hilly and Annie were arriving at 12:18 pm so Paula drove to the station to collect them while the rest of the team went up on the gondola to the top of the mountain. The plan had been for everyone to meet at the top for lunch, but on reaching the top they decided it wasn’t the best for lunch and headed back down.
We had pizza and pasta in the village – there were a few people having an afternoon nap.
In the evening we went to La Fromagerie, http://www.lafromagerie.ch/76/English/%3E_Restaurant.html a swiss restaurant that had been recommended – and it was excellent. No-one dared to have the fondue after the healthy lunch we had had, but otherwise everyone enjoyed the experience.
