An uneventful flight to St Petersburg on Air Berlin
•A huge city from the visual view flying in
•An airport that rates with Vietnam in 2000 – some developmnt opportunities
•Driving skills related to lane management are poor – saw 2 nose to tail crunches
•Contrast in the street of our apartment – a stuffed Lada being repaired with a hammer and a relatively new Bentley quietly parked in the same block
•More fur coats than I have seen before on this trip
•The language and street signs are challenging, I can only tell our street as it has a McDonald’s on the corner.
•We found a supermarket and a bottle of wine for dinner
•Looking forward to exploring tomorrow
